Telecoms Growth dynamic
Telecommunications has become one of the Caribbean's major growth industries, according to a new report. In particular, the region's mobile sector has been witnessing significant expansion in recent years.
The report has come from the Irish-based Research and Markets.
It says the Caribbean mobile market has become one of the most dynamic markets in the world. Subscribers in the region have increased at an average annual growth rate of around 50% per annum between 2003 and 2007. Source: BBC Caribbean
